About Turkish Tulip
Nazan Gillie lives in Madison, WI where she is a scientist at the University of Wisconsin and her husband Cameron is a freelance photographer. Nazan grew up in Istanbul, Turkey where her family all still live. Her brother Sinan Atilla is the meerchaum artist that is featured on the Turkish Tulip web site.
Nazan is dedicated to preserving and introducing the culture and unique arts of Anatolia, Turkey. Every item introduced on this website is either from Turkey or inspired from Turkish motifs of the past. Nazan aims to bring you the art and culture of Turkey with goods supplied directly from the artist. Our goal is to educate as well as provide a personal shopping experience.
